Installer can't find the original game from Steam

Hello there !

Id like to run KaM Remake with Wine on my Macbook, but I encountered a problem : my original game is installed from Steam (I already launched it several times), but the installer keep saying me that he doesnt find the original game on my computer.
To solve this, I would like to know where I am suppose to put my game files; anyone knows the installer path ?

I just found the answer on old topics about it; seems that the installer only detect windows version of the game, i have to install it on a pc and copy the remake files on my mac; ill try.

i CANT RUN K@M ON WINDWOS 10 . got a black screen sound then go back to wi again. So how can i install remake ?

You do not need to actually run original Knights and Merchants to play the remake mod. You only need original Knights and Merchants: The Peasants Rebellion installed for the Remake to be able to launch.
