Network types selection is blank?

I cant seem to access any connection at all. LAN, I mean. Not a single network type! What should I do? I cant post the screenshot yet, for I dont have 5 postings =(

Can you guys help me? I will try and answer anything you ask about my configuration...

First, do you have TSK or TPR?
And I'm not quite sure what mean by you don't have any network types. Do you mean the type selection list is empty?

What Windows are you running? It sounds like you're having a problem with DirectPlay. Possibly some software, device or something interfering with it? Do you have any other game using DirectPlay and does it work without problems?

If you're using WINE, it doesn't emulate (or interpret or whatever it does) DirectPlay so the list will be empty.

I downloaded The Peasants Rebellion. And yes, the type selection is empty.
Windows 2000, I dont know for sure about the directplay, but I had to install directx 9.0 for another game. And I dont know whats WINE either =O
I installed the same game at Windows Vista, and the list shows the options, like TCP/IP and such, but nothing with the Windows 2000.
