The cream of the crop, no doubt; actual screenshots from development stages of the game. These show some pretty awesome things so its definitely worth taking a peek.

Alpha

These are the earliest screenshots that have been acquired of the game. A sad fact is that these screenshots hardly show anything of the game itself, but they are pretty awesome nonetheless.

Beta 1

These screenshots are from a significantly later stage of development, and the most important parts of the gameplay itself have been pretty much nailed down.

Beta 2

Once again, a bunch of progress has been made even though the leap is nowhere near as big as last time. There's a new background graphic for the interface and other elements of the interface are also starting to come together.

Beta 3

Now even the GUI background graphic is the wooden one that is being used in the final game. These screenshots show a quite late beta version of the game. There are still some unfinished things and a highly incomplete English translation.

Beta 4

In this beta the mini-map now finally has this indent where it is located and the soldier interface is also getting close to being completed.

Beta 5

In this version the English translation has seen some work done on it; and this version was also released as the first demo version that the public could try out.

Beta 6

At this point the game is getting feature complete in a haste. Since the last beta version there have been numerous usability improvements made to the user interface and some work has also been done in order to improve the English translation.

Beta 7

The very final beta version of the game. This particular version was sent to different gaming magazines throughout Germany for review purposes. Differences to the final game are very minimal at this point.

Usually during late development, a few bigger show-off screenshots are created that are then sent off to gaming press and then possibly used as a cover image or as a double page.
