They're not, they both do the same amount of damage per arrow, the same as all units. I guess you'd have more bowmen because they're cheaper, so in that sense they're better against towers.

just try 1 bowmen shooting at tower and 1 xbow shooting at tower (begin at the same time) bowmen's tower will die when xbowmen's tower have about 68 HP, that is becouse archers do 1 dmg to buildings and melee units do 2 dmg to buildings, but bowmens fire rate is about 30% faster.. => bowmen is better on buildings than crossbowmen.

Yes this is right, that bowmen are the better choose for buidlings. However i think the bowmen should be little bit more stronger!

Darn it. I always thought Swordsmen and Knights would be kind of equal against each other, since there is nothing that indicates that knights are stronger than infantry for some reason in the actual game UI (as there is, for example, with lances and pikemen against horses). I just thought the only difference was speed. Is there any New Player guide for me to avoid these kinds of mistakes in the future???
