Re: MegaMap Project

Look very promising:D

I have suggestion- maybe in some of the 3 closest add areas some resources to make players worth building farer in their starting base? It might make game more interesting. In example 80/80 coal/gold ore or iron in areas 3,5,7,10? Or other( as maper wish) ;]

Keep up good work!

Re: MegaMap Project

I must admit that the pace of work is unbelievable! Shadaoe not disappoint! Kept the atmosphere :D . I wonder if HellRacer draw a volcano  . I think him (HellRacer or Dicsoupcan?) part of the map, should have as little space for expansion, as the location of Thunder (for good balance). HellRacer good luck! :)

Re: MegaMap Project

Visually very well connected. I love the way you 'paint' - the desert hill looks very thematic, it's hot! Same with area around the water you added, feels so calm.

What bothers me however, is that generally northern locs are way more open than southern. How it is designed anyway, south vs north or easy vs west ? XD The map is taking it's shape and I think it's time to see biger picture. Map is pretty but will it be playable in decently balanced way ? :D

Re: MegaMap Project

I think that at the moment there is no reason to worry.
I will now see it: Locations: TO, Paker, TDL, Thunder vs the rest.
TO has a lot of space, and Ben also has. Dicsoupcan or HellRacer doing just a little place like thunder, and everything is OK.
:P What do you think?

Thank you very much for your comments !

I don't know about locations yet, but I'm sure we'll come up with a good setup (or even several) at the end !

Re: MegaMap Project

Shadaoe, how could you have placed trees near my location! :O Now it will be easy! Good job on the transitions. I'm hoping Disco makes a desert, too :)

Hellracer, amazing aesthetics, as usual. The location looks very easy to play because gold and iron are right next to each other. I think that it is good that you only placed three iron mines for this reason Depending on what the neighboring locations do, wood might end up being very easy here.

Bah! Wooden bridge tile. I hate it when people use this other than over the chasm areas :P
