Adding a new tier of units to the game like we would add another mineral resource to the game like platinum and call the units who use this mineral as platinum units the iron smelter can be used for this to.

In all seriousness, we don't need any steel or platinum, etc.

Sword Militia seem like they'd be a sad waste of iron, but that incredibly cheap price could make some interesting spam.

I also thought of maybe adding a unit (Huskarl?) that uses a shield+axe (axefighter without armor) to counter mass ranged/leather spam, but it's not really needed.
