Re: Official KaM Remake Ideas topic
Also, should it mark you as unready if the host changes your team?

On the other hand, it's not that often, that host does this kind of trolling. So I don't think it's necessary.

I'm working through my todo list. Someone reported this issue:
"When I'm a spectator and am ready, the host is able to move me to a location and push start because I'm still ready"
To fix this I've made it so whenever the host changes your location it marks you as unready (regardless of whether you are a spectator or not). This appears to make sense since that player should be given a chance to agree to the change. Does that sound reasonable or will that be annoying?
Also, should it mark you as unready if the host changes your team?
I saw some games in the normal release ( I tried it also some times) that if player don´t like to play with x1 speed for example or wanna play with higher peacetime, just set the settings they want and wait until all press ready. After that the host can just change the settings fast and the players are still ready, so the host can start the game with changed settings

One thing about spectating: is it possible to have only spectators on map, without players? It would be useful when we want to talk about (new) map. To point flaws and good things and discuss them.
 .
. . It's easy to do when I got used to it (it's gonna be easy when the bug is removed).

@Lewin: I was wondering is it possible to implement from technical point of view (no players, just spectators). I know I can do what you've wrote, but that's more work*.

However, could you please make it possible for spectators to place blueprints? T'would be very useful for seeing if an area is "buildable" and also to lay out how you think the city is going, etc. This might be really tricky; though, because the spectator team would see them, but not the normal players. I guess it could just be that if a normal player puts a blueprint over a spectator's blueprint, the spectator print gets removed.
