REALY there's no way to view live stats ? I thought that it is using scripts ... Maybe it depends on what thejoliejooker want ... But I would like to see live statistics in form of points (like in Rise of Nations or in more RTS games), e.g. 5-15pts for house, 1pt for villager etc ... Its only for our info, just like in the end of game :-) , I like comparing me with other players :-)

Actually I meant that in a running MP game you could see your and your teammates stats. Just the basic ones, like soldiers created/killed/lost. I know that if I just quit I can check the latest stats, but it's pointless to do.

Yeah that is possible but you need to find some on that is gonna write the script and a map to implement it

Actually I meant that in a running MP game you could see your and your teammates stats. Just the basic ones, like soldiers created/killed/lost. I know that if I just quit I can check the latest stats, but it's pointless to do.
I agree with you , Its good and useful information (for every player) :-) ... I have no experience with KaM scripting, but is it possible to do some scripts, which will run on each map (then you wont have to paste it to the *.script file) ? In multiplayer lobby can be checkbox "live stat" ...hmm ?

No, I do not think so. You'd have to copy and paste that script into every map you play I believe.

It's important to see your team stats only, because it would be a cheat to know that how many soldiers your enemy has. (mainly when you want to rush their towers, but theres only darkness behind them)

I'm working on "teams script" that show your teammates: house count, workers count, serfs count, corn achieve, weapon achieve, barracks build, army count. Also i want to do something like "house efficiency" like in what % lumberjack chops tree etc, but i need something like OnHouseSelect :)

I have an idea of global weather, like rain or snow. We can add some drop.png shooting around the screen in random size. or drop.gif with some "drop-exploding at the ground". or animation foreground.
Script example: SetWeather(aType (rain, snow or wind), aIntensity (0.0-1.0 - how much objects in the screen), aDirection (0-360 or 0-9))
You can add some weather to your mission and u should be allow to change it durring misssion :>

@RandomLyrics: The idea is tempting. We have it on our todo list for a couple of years. Problem is:
- we need a research and examples of other games doing it (cos IIRC not many RTS games have that)
- we need graphical assets for it.
- we need to code it, because adding plane waterdrops will not look good enough. we need a sort of 3D perspective of some kind, which is tricky.

I think the best for kam will be animated foreground but dunno if it possible.
Graphics are not hard to do :P

IDEA: When you use the shortcut in the army, the camera is transferred to the army. You do not have to look for troops across the map.
