ip connecting sucks. unless you have a dynamic ip as i do. which chanes everytime you d'c the modem. but then theres always the possibility of being hacked midgame. not saying anyone of you is bad but you never know. so there is that possibility. and just about anyone with a DSL connection has a static ip which means your fubar if someone gets it and takes advantage of it.

routers and firewalls help but its all bypassable otherwise people wouldnt be able to get into banks and such.

Hamachi is pretty good for stuff like that.
means you don't have to give a real ip out.

Actually I've heard that Hamachi makes it real easy for people in the same channel (or whatever those things are called, rooms?) to get access to the someones computer in the same channel.

I seriously doubt anyone here would start hacking someones computer if you give out your IP. Just make sure to give it in a PM or via MSN, ICQ etc. and not here (cause someone from the outside could try hacking your computer).
