A few minutes ago we tried to test new map and we run into some problems - game crashed right in the middle, I was able to figure out what was causing it but since it was already late (we tried to rehost a few times) we were unable to finish.
Anyway just download it, start new multiplayer game (from save), play at my loc (you don't need other players). On the bottom of the map there are two coal mines planned, problem is caused by the right one - when the labourer moves from lower/right tile to lower/center the game crashes. I tried to remove the plan (no crash) and then place it again (crash...).

Well it´s a problem with the map then, not with the Remake. To had a smiliar problem on one of his maps, after many tries I found out, that the elevation at the end of the map was too "strong" when a labour made a road, so he couldn´t move away from there. He just redesigned that area and from then, there were no more bugs there
It´s late now, I will watch your replay tomorrow.

@pawel: No, it is a problem with the Remake. No matter what elevation you put in your map the game should not crash like that. The problem is that our flattening terrain routine does not handle the bottom row of the map properly. I've put it on my to do list to fix it. Thanks for reporting it Nissarin.
EDIT: It's
fixed!

The crash occurred occasionally when flattening terrain near the bottom row of the map, or also the far right edge.
This specific crash has been reported 11 times in r5503, but interestingly nobody sent the report from the time you were playing

Please do click the send button if a crash report appears, it really does help us fix them. Thanks again for the detailed report Nissarin.

I'll remember about it next time, however my biggest concern at that time was to continue playing - there were some bugs in Remake some time ago which also caused crashes but you were able to continue playing by clicking Resume until they disappear - does "Send report" close the game ?

BTW, I see that the starting window with the name of the developers, that open at the start of the game, is bugged still. It doesn´t disapear, when you click at the Remake on the place, where this window is, this window will be shown and you have to take it and drop out of the range of your monitor. Should be fixed somehow.

I might make a mistake but i think in mission 9 of the shattered kingdom the enemy attacks after 30 minutes or a bit more. But when i played nothing happened. i played more than an hour and no enemy comming ( the mission where you have your first barbarian, only a bit place..).

Sending the report does not close the game and afterwards you can still click the "continue" button. I understand wanting to get back to the game, sending the report takes a few moments so the other players might have left by the time you resume.

I think this is actually a bug in Delphi (our IDE/compiler), because this bug keeps coming back (since Krom's map editor before the Remake actually) and we have put the code to hide the splash screen in a few different places. I can't actually reproduce this bug (clicking on the splash screen doesn't cause it for me), but it happens to me maybe once every 100 times I start the KaM Remake under some specific circumstance. Can you reliably reproduce it?

That´s strange. Well it happend for me like the same, like 10% of all time when I started the game. It happend to me when I clicked on that window, while the remake wasn´t loaded completly. When I restart KaM and just waited, it was ok.
However that was in the last releases, now sth strange happend and I have that ever 2nd time(Really 50% not an exaggeration). I can´t really say why it happens now, only that in the nightly it looks llike it would happen even more often and the starting loading-time is also increased, i think.

Thats really strange because i don´t have this problem. Only in the earlier versions of the remake, but now i don´t have this anymore...

it only happens when you click on the loading screen before it is fully loaded, just restart and do not click the loading screen and you shall nothave it.

This is a good one.. server log was flooded with "Server: Error: Packet over size limit", result can be seen
here. Server seems to be working fine (messages stopped after one of the clients disconnected/connection was reset/whatever, probably..).

Hi!
I don't call it bug because this isnt a huge thing but interesting question what should be visible on the minimap.
If we check the earht with live cam, than we can separate the green area from the white area. Maybe if we are watching that forrest from the sky should to visible;) not as withe area. Do i know well the snowwolfdog is visible as a big white dots on the minimap?

Don´t thing thats a good idea, because that would mean every single trees, on "normal" maps would be visible also on the minimap, and as far as i know that´s unnecesary in the Remake

I don´t know even many games like KaM, where trees should be visible at the minimap. I mean you are right Thunder, in that case there are "only trees" so the minimap doesn´t match with the reality. However this loc isn´t an average loc in KaM right?

Maybe draw some grass or dirt tiles below tree? They will be visible only on minimap, cos terrain seems to be 100% occluded by trees
