Re: Rankings
I agree, it'sgood idea. But noobs must play with Pro for increase their levelYes that's a good idea, the host could set a rank for the lobby: noob, average, pro

Labeling Clients (us the gamers) is discriminative for nature. Has been the typical way that most games, of any genre, has been doing for years and years (internet slangs like noob/pro).
Back in 1980's there wasnt any of these concepts, which started with appeareance of leagues and clans from different games.

An alternative? I agree with level discrimination, as long as noone knows about it... I often "classify" a player I have met according my past and present experiences with him... but is something PERSONAL.
My Idea: Add in the Lobby a [bookmark option] to mark players I have played. The bookmark code will recognize the order of characters (nickname), and so instantly remember my Mark on him each time I log in:
1) * Starter *
2) ** Average **
3) *** Veteran ***
4) **** Elite ****
The feature has personal purposes to remember a nick's performance, without he knowing what I think of him.
This way we avoid people making multiple nicknames to "hide" his level (since he doesnt know what we think).
This way we solve the problem of general consense level... What if Florek is a V to me, but E to most people?
At least we know that he is a good player... but that goodness differs according the bookmarker.
Another funny feature of this bookmarking, is that we can trade opinions on the general chatroom...
What do you think of Kirelareus? Well, there everyone comments and perhaps reaches a consense, though temporally
