In the Netherlands downloading 'illegal' software isn't illegal. Uploading is.

But when I use a torrent I have to leave my computer on, isn't it? But with ftp I can cut the connection off after uploading (I have my own VDS..), so that's a lot more interesting.

Unless I'm mistaking about the torrents, it will be ftp. I'll when I have time to upload (school things, you know...)

You can turn it off... when you turn it on, you have to seed the torrent again and the people will download it further from the point where you turned youre computer, or from the point it was allready shared ammong the people. the seeder and leecher just need to be online at the same time :P

Downloading isn't illegal in holland and many other country's.
Uploading KaM-TSK isn't illegal.
Uploading coppyrighted music is.
Uploading stuff with a GPL-alike license is legal.

Please don't reply on my post if you don't know any knowledge about sharing, you can't win it...

Btw, which license does KaM-linux use?

I don't think the Linux KaM is an open source project...

You cannot migrate to linux BEFORE you know as many of linux as you know now of windows.

I have experienced problems for myself, but you can migrate to linux and virtualize windows on it

For KaM it would be better if you run it under windows.

Raymond.
