Awesome work, if you need any help with the permissions/sql or setting up super admins let me know as i pretty much know the ins and outs of it.

I also have working IRC interaction scripts and i'm sure I have a TS bot lying around somewhere aswell.

What is the TS bot for? how does it work?
and the scripts?

Basically IRC script will work as such;

But you'll need super admin for it to work.

The bot was like a registration enforcer. it was quite functionable with some other things but i could never be bothered to get it to fully work.

Where can i get my hands on this script and how do i install it? thanks in advance!

The script is an attachment on that forum thread.

You'll need to put it in a mirc session running on your server. The actual installation instructions are on that thread aswell.

Have you got the SQL admin(or superadmin but NOT serveradmin as it doesn't have enough power) set up? Or else it will not work. If you need this i'll write how you do it.

Does the SQL admin have to be set up manually or does it come with teamspeak 3 server already? if it doesn't, then we don't have it. im going to google it and see what it is.

Ok, after looking at my client.. the way i used to do it has now gone. I literally had to do it once in 2010 and it looks like and update in the meantime has gotten rid of it.

There used to a run macro function where you could manually add yourself in. It might be a case of getting hold of sqlite and accessing it on the serverbox.

Just be careful with that admin, as you can literally do anything, but if you alter it's permissions, it's very hard to rectify. I'd keep that set of powers just to you.

I'll pop on your TS one night this week and talk you through the scripts and stuff if you'd like.

We will miss Matt, and his provocative skills. It's true that the Playerbase at TS has significantly reduced since r5116.
Probably negative impacts were the again expensive Market (less tactics), the new "slow archers", and NO builder rush?

All in all, there are less choices/variants in tactical gameplay.
Some of the widely known "problems" might better to return to keep KaM with secrets to discover for beginners... and veterans to show off.

No the reason is that they like dota2 more, and just dropped kam.

I visited this new server.
I like it more because all present rooms have a good description about their use, plus there aren't joke/individual rooms.
It gives the server a neat overview, which I appreciate.

Don't get me wrong: I am very thankful for Matt setting up his TeamSpeak server (there is not doubt that I wouldn't have thought of doing it myself had it not been for him) but it always bothered me how there were so many "joke" channels

P.S., I later saw that you wrote to me on TS, Jero. I was not paying attention and listening to music so I didn't hear the notification
