... maybe we can add two stats to the statistics -- units starved and soldiers starved? I am always interested in seeing how well I managed my food. If I am attacked and half my city is slaughtered, it doesn't reflect my food management. Also, having half of your army starve doesn't mean that you fought poorly, but it sure makes it look like it.

Please consider adding these :)

maybe its usefull to have an download map option in the lobby of a game. This way maps can be tested whit strangers or not to be planned tests. also its really irritating to download every map from some site that is not in the set.

I am busy with making my mini game the last time.
and i would like the option to bring back siege engines in dynamic scripts, not that you can build it as player, but that a map maker can create it
because for some games I really want them :)

because for some games I really want them :)
technically bringing them back just as barbarians etc. :) i don't see why we shouldn't.

I have the same opinion, but Lewin said that they are completely excluded. It means they can't just be added but would need to get the original stuff for it. And maybe it would need some sprites for a person to push it. Where is our lovely art master when we need him? :rolleyes: :D

The sprite is not really my problem...
They are just to over powerd to be made in a normal campaign or MP
but if a map maker could give one to AI or player would be nice for some maps

I have a new idea that would be cool and useful to the campaign (certainly in our campaign). It is a tactical mission, and we have eg 100 soldiers, troops as much as we live in this mission, so we get (these soldiers) to the next mission, economic mission. I hope you know what I mean. Of course, the option would be useful in the editor when the army has to be brand new in other missions, and when, such as in my idea. I think it would be something interesting. What do you think? Krom / Lewin, this idea would be possible? :?

i also thought about that idea but it properly wont work well :(
because often at the end of a mission you can build a very big army around 100 men
and that is properly enough to win the next mission in 20 minutes

That's why he said tactical mission ;).

Personally, I don't think this idea will work very well since basically you can start missions over again (while perhaps playing the tactical map also again before), and you basically have to start the previous mission all over again if you didn't keep enough troops. What I would say is start of with the tactical map create some sort of passage to the economic mission. (Perhaps some scripts like onarmydefeat destroy/place building may help)

Who said that the mission will be easy? In our campaign, we want to give the opportunity, but: start granted, before the military (tactical mission), we are left with 100 soldiers max 20-30, and we have another mission - economic, and fighting for those 20-30 soldiers (who lives of previous mission). I know it may not work well in an economic mission to the next mission, but with a tactical mission to the next - yes. It all depends on Mapmakers. If I am confident that it will succeed in our campaign, I know what I'm saying. Otherwise I would not have posted on the forum :wink:

In Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth, you always took your army you had at the end of the mission with you to the next mission. However, if your army was very large, the enemy's army would be very large as well (in the next mission). If your army was pathetic, so would your enemy's army be. But I don't think something like this is really needed anyway. :P
