
Serfs won't bring materials to buildings to construct them.

So I was playing for about an hour, had a decent size town going. And suddenly my serfs wouldn't bring lumber/stones to the buildings to be constructed. I tried demolishing the building and retrying it but it didn't work. Any ideas?
Could be you planned too many buildings without connecting them to the road network.

Hi Angle,
I know what causes this bug, and it's quite easy to fix. The problem occurs if you have too many buildings waiting for supplies. Apparently, if you have more than 3 buildings (I don't know if 3 is the exact number) under construction at once then the wares won't be delivered to them.
So all you need to do to make it work again is remove all but one of the buildings ordered, and wares should be delivered once more.
Let us know if that worked.

From my experience it takes ~12 coal mines to be planned unconnected to road network. (Thats when I discovered this bug) Then any transportation of wood stops. It may depend on various conditions though.

I think I have this bug quite well nailed down. In <1.32 building having any amount of construction sites would not cause any problems whatsoever.
In 1.32 having more than three construction sites prevented ware delivery to them.
It seems like this was partially fixed in TPR as serfs will now bring wares to any number of construction sites as long as no more than three of them are detached from the road.

I have the same problem and it freaks me out as I can't properly adapt a strategy fearing that the whole construction will stop. I've just recently installed KAM to play out of nostalgia and at the 4th mission I become sooo annoyed of this! after I developed a strategy of keeping my builders busy all the time while connecting 1 building at the time to the network so that the warfs focus on that single building and builders' energy doesn't go to waste. But to keep those builders busy I have to make unconnected construction sites!!! It's SO ANNOYING!
And I have 1.30 PL version TSK. All I know from forums is that it "depends on various conditions" once someone says sites must by connected, then the other that even when they're connected this thing happens, the number of buildings varies and so on.... WHAT"S GOING ON???

It's even more complicated i found out. Not only they don't bring wood to the sites (it's funny some building sites are completely supplied, some are not, some only with stone), but they don't even take wood from sawmill to storage (so that the sawmills don't work couse they are full). Oh and my quaries are also full with stone. And there is A LOT of workers just standing still and idle (even though it's obvius they're all needed!). I erased the construction sites so that only one remains and everything started to move again. I'll try to limit myself to 2 construction sites connected and 1 disconnected. I consider this an official fault of the (otherwise great) game.
